Source Conservation Fund
We are dedicated to safeguarding sources of clean water by supporting innovation in sustainable farming and land conservation in Oregon and globally. Our fund focuses on farming initiatives that eliminate contamination, ensuring that vital water sources and biodiversity-rich areas are preserved for generations to come.
We currently support the Small Farms program at Oregon State University. The goals of the Small Farms program is to improve the economic and environmental sustainability of small farms by employing appropriate scale production and marketing techniques. The program provides land management education and resources to improve soil and water quality and conservation.
Our long-term goal is to develop programs that provide land and training to refugees from countries with agricultural backgrounds to offer opportunities to resettle in non-urban settings while continuing the growth of sustainable small farms.
