Education & Supplies Fund

We work with community partners in Uganda to provide feminine hygiene products directly to girls in rural and urban schools. For $10 per month, you can make an enormous impact for these young women.
Without (Safe water, sanitation and hygiene) WASH, children cannot wash their hands before and after eating, and after using a toilet. Moreover, girls cannot manage their menses with dignity and privacy. Some studies have suggested that girls stayed home during their menses due to the lack of WASH in schools. These combined situations have detrimental impacts on girls' academic completion and achievement.*
Community liaisons also work with local organizations in Uganda to provide tuition assistance to children who have no support for school fees and would not otherwise be able to attend.

A FRAMEWORK FOR ACCELERATING WASH IN SCHOOLS 2024–2030
Feminine hygiene supplies are personal care items designed to support girls with safe, private, and dignified period management.
-
Feminine hygiene supplies are more than just emergency supplies; they are essential tools for health, education and dignity.
-
Without access to safe products, millions of girls miss school each month due to fear of leakage, staining or teasing from their peers, limiting their daily school attendance, which may affect their performance and spike school drop out rates. This limits their personal and economic growth.
-
Providing the feminine hygiene kits therefore restores confidence and helps them to attend class throughout every month.
-
By providing comprehensive Feminine hygiene supplies containing clean supplies, we protect health by preventing infections, break the stigma surrounding periods, and protect personal dignity especially during emergencies.
-
Ensuring every girl can manage her period safely is a crucial to step towards gender equality and community well being.
These personal care items include:
-
Sanitary pads (disposable or reusable)
-
Underwear
-
Protective storage pouches
-
Hygiene supplies like soap, towels and hand sanitizer.
